For the launch of the new generation VELUX sun tunnel, AGENCY SPRING worked together with the Creative Department in the VELUX Group to solve a complex conceptual challenge.


VELUX needed a strong concept to promote the new generation sun tunnel. This innovative skylight solution connects the roof with the ceiling via a reflective tube that goes through the roof to provide sunlight in areas that are normally dark and under lit. On a photograph, the solution could easily be mistaken for an electric light. VELUX were looking for a concept that could work on b2b and b2c communication with little or no changes.


AGENCY SPRING worked closely with the Creative Department at VELUX Group to create an attention-grabbing, flexible concept that could be used across all platforms. The title ‘A hallway you’ll never want to leave’ was a dramatization of the fact that almost all sun tunnels are installed in hallways or entryways. The imagery was focused on presenting the benefits of the products while also alluding to the natural sunlight that the product provided.



The concept was rolled out on digital platforms, direct mail, brochures, installer communication and on a PR strategy.
