Rebranding one of the biggest dairy ranges available in the Aldi chiller, across a selection of very different products.

Challenge

With a whole host of different products in its Cowbelle range, Aldi needed a rebranding solution that would work across all manner of foods. Ranging from milk and cheese to chilled coffee, the watchword for the entire project would be ‘versatility’.

Solution

Combining creative elements designed to communicate happiness, freshness and a sense of Britishness, a visual identity was developed for the Cowbelle product line that would be recognisable as a range, but would also carry enough individual character to stand alone. A ‘smiling’ holding device was used to contain a strong typographic route, while allowing the branding to be both self contained and interactive with the rest of the product design.
